Our background check was started a couple of weeks ago. We're waiting on the passport request. I am hoping it will come soon.

Its actually fast. I am not even to that point yet
My case is, they sent us doc request for police cert in Early March. we submitted it last week and are still waiting for BGC.

I think you misunderstood. Skyzee's entire process from start to end was impressively fast. Their wait from 'Background check in progress' was unusually long (about 6 weeks from late Feb to early April). That often takes same day or less than a week.
I thought the average process time for BGC was 2-4 weeks. Of course, some have gone quicker, some slower, but most people I've seen have gone about that long. I just got my DM today, which makes my wait 3 weeks.

Thanks! Our application was actually flagged as well when I ordered GCMS notes since my wife had once been denied entrance into Canada awhile ago... lucky for us they didn't take too much extra time to investigate it. Hope everyone else's applications wrap up quickly as well, it's been such a nightmare of a wait stuck in limbo.

And now we wait for the PPR! ;D

It is still super fast compare to how slow the mexico VO office is

Hello everybody!! Got my COPR yesterday afternoon!!!
Just wanted to wish good luck to everybody and thank you so much :D

Finally, a change on our application! Our BGC has now changed back to "processing" after being "Not Applicable" since Feb 22, when they requested a replacement document for one that we had made a mistake on. It seems they took the full 30 days they gave us to send it in, plus another 2 weeks to look it over (we sent the doc the day after the request).

Hopefully we have a quick BGC! Great to see all the DMs and PPRs lately ;D

I guess I spoke too soon last night - woke up to DM this morning, haha.
Congratulations! There were quite a bit of us that received DM this week. Can't wait for our PPRs to come flooding in!

Hey all!

I'm from the February timeline for outland.
I'm going around to the other months and seeing if anyone who is outland had to wait very long for their AOR2 or their third line ECAS?
all of us in the feb timeline seem to have hit a stall with it. some have received it but not many of us.
It's been a whole month now since most of us have heard anything.
-Most of us have Ottawa as the VO and I know we don't receive emails

My husband did not get aor2. But on ecas it showed it was processed in the assigned VO, it served as aor2 :)

Congrats everyone who got DM!!

It prompted me to check mine, and MYCIC still says "processing background check" but my ECAS has changed to DECISION MADE!! :)

Yeah, never got an AOR2. Ottawa applicants don't commonly get it, if at all.
