Each sponsor and principal applicant gets assigned a different UCI. Can you try the Last Name, First Name, Date of Birth option in linking your app? Have you tried the steps circulating in this thread using the PA's info? Still no luck? Hmm. Play it out with the Birth Place, it has to match the Principal Applicant's information on the Generic Application Form.

Thanks . I have tried the one circulating and then with file number. Also tried 1,2 and 3 as the number but no luck. I just exceeded my tires for today haha. But will try under hubbies account later.
It is really strange. I wonder if it's because we filled everything out by hand and didn't validate anything. I got the SA no problem. However they did mail us using Canada Post and not email.
That's why I'm concerned the most. I mean I can at least check ecas but I don't know if the medical is passed. I'm guessing it is. But I was hoping they would communicate via email and not Canada post. That will be too long of a wait in case they request something.
We selected email but who knows. I just hope the Mexico VO will communicate via email. My hubby was addressed a letter from CIC January 17 and he got it in the mail February 7th in Dominican Republic. It's not reliable.

I received email saying they started working on my file Jan 4th.

ECAS and myCIC don't update at the same time. But to be clear, do both Sponsor & Principal Applicant have DM in ECAS? If so, congrats!

I checked both sponsor & principal applicant show DM in ECAS.

I am also trying to link my application but it doesn't link. I applied on dec 06. Whenever I check my Ecas it just says in process.

Well at least I know I'm not alone. It's so discouraging and I didn't see anyone else having the issue so thought it was just me. My ecas shows in process as well so without mycic the only change in ecas is when it says decision made.

I didn't try yesterday it made me so frustrated the day before. I will try today. We've been trying the 5 times on both accounts everyday. It makes me crazy

I did link my application.. and i did view on ecas.. ecas shows 'in process' , and myCIC Shows medicals passed. file open. and everything else not started.

I think you should contact to CIC if your case over normal process time. Your sponsor already got SA?

I only received an email saying they started working on my file on Jan 4th. i'm the sponsor. they received my package on Dec 20th.
