Hey Badi,

We are both in the same boat. You can't use an application number or ID number until they give you one unfortunately.

I have been trying the receipt number and the sponsors info and still nothing.

Hey KloveG

Yea i know its driving me crazy..i check it like every 20 min waiting is killing. I cant use any of the information NOthing works. Keep me updated here please if you could link it or trace it using ECAS

I know exactly how you feel. It is making me crazy too. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything or can log in anywhere.

When did they recieve your application?

Sorry guys, that sucks massively. Already sucks enough being able to check ECAS, can't imagine not being able to see at all. Hmm... you could try calling CIC call center to see if they'll cough up the application number.

They seemed to be able to pull up the info about my app just with my name/dob/address. If you do choose to do that though, be prepared to get hung up on alot by the automated telephone system since it can probably only put 5 people on hold at a time :| Need to keep calling until the system puts you on hold... I used option 1, 2, 0 on phone.

I happened to have it already since I was able to link my app on MyCIC (using PA Name / DOB) before checking ECAS, but they also didn't ask for it when I had called

yes, seems like half an hour wait time is standard once you are able to get into the queue

I used App number, Sponsor Last name, Sponsor DOB, and Sponsor Country of Birth. You can see both sponsorship app status AND PA status with this screen...

I just did this! Thanks!
I was wondering how I could see the Sponsor status :)

Hello guys,

You all very knowledgeable. This fourm is really an asset to struggling applicants.

Can someone tell me: if you are applying outland and you were approved as a sponsor, does that mean that they approve of your "intent to reestablish in Canada"? I live with my sponsor, our only proof ofnintent is to explain our plans.

Yes that's correct. Once you get sponsor approval, this means that they are happy with your plans to re-establish in Canada.

Hi Everyone!
I've just got email as mention as below.

Quote:
Dear XXXXX XXXX

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by CIC on 2017/01/09.

My bf already got SA since 2017/01/05. Does this mean I got "Stage 2 AOR"?

Thanks!

Trying to fill out the spreadsheet.
Can anyone tell me what Stage 2 AOR is.
it's when the visa office receives PA's file, acknowlegment of receipt of PA's file... next step to SA...

Hoorah, first correspondence from Cic for SA. Forwarded to Ottawa. And here's where the real waiting happens...

just called cic, still said there is no specific time for AOR1, as long as its within the 12months time frame then its alrite ???

skyzee: how long it take to get the email after you see the DM status on ECAS ? I saw mine has DM, but no email yet. I also noticed the PR Application is "Application Received" . Did it change to "In Process" for you?
