Mine went to CPC-M on Dec 06. I am not sure how the announcement on Dec 07 effect my time line. Still waiting for AOR1...

I am requested passport photos today.

`Passport photos: Passport size photographs (photographs must conform to the
specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM 3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications)
This must be received at this office by: 2017/01/13

Since I already provided passport photographs following the specifications i don't know what different is to send now? Should I take photos again and send it? Can anybody explain what could be the potential mistake in previously submitted photographs and what to be careful about now?

December applicant here, for my wife. Application sent yesterday and received by David S. today. Countdown begins :)

Check your file size, it might be too big. Follow the guidelines regarding its size.

"Is there a file size limit for documents I upload to MyCIC?
Yes. The file size limit is 4MB per upload.

My documents are too large to upload. How do I reduce the file size?
If your file is larger than 4MB, you will need to reduce the size. Here are some tips for reducing the size of your file:

PDF format

Recreate the PDF with Adobe Distiller set to "lowest file size".
Ensure that all images in the PDF are set to 96 DPI (dots per inch).
Remove all unnecessary images.

JPG format

Scan your document at a lower DPI.
Remove all empty space around the image.
Shrink the image.
Reduce the JPG image quality.

TIFF and PNG format

Scan your document at a lower DPI.
Crop the image to remove any empty space around it.
Shrink the image.
Save the file in JPG format instead.

DOC and DOCX format

Remove unnecessary images, formatting and macros. Save the file as a recent Word version.
Reduce the file size of the images before they are added to the document.
If it is still too large, save the file as a PDF."

Thank you. I will try to reduce the size of the images and make a new pdf file.

I have compressed my file from 4.5 MB to 1.2 MB but it has lost quality though readable. Is it good enough to upload on myCIC?

Did you sign at the back of your photos? Also, were you able to include your name, date, name of the photography studio, and its address? Make sure you follow the correct sizing.

Since i am required to send them digitally now how am I supposed to send the back of the photo? Should I send scanned copy or original digital photo?

Can a mod please create a spreadsheet for Dec applicant? Thanks! :)

Sent off old application yesterday in Vancouver to CPC-M. Took a look at new forms and decided to just go with the old forms since we already had it completed and figured there'd be new bugs with the new forms. Hoping to get AOR / ability to link through ECAS soon!
