Us too, app was received Dec. 29 and still no email confirmation. Little worried too.

Tell me about it... haven't received AOR1, but was able to link application to MyCIC. I'm guessing at this point, I'm not getting AOR1 at all. Probably should just expect SA hopefully by the end of next week.

Dear Skyzee it looks like we have the same timeline i send my application Mon Dec 19 and it was received on 21 dec (as what Canada post says) i didn't receive AOR1 (by mail or email) and i CANT link. SO i guess every case is different. Hope we hear something by the end of this week.

Your app was received right around the Christmas/New Years holidays remember to take that into consideration, but dont worry give it another few days i'm sure you'll get it soon!!

Hello all:

I am new to this forum. Currently, I'm am in the process of submitting my paperwork. Therefore, my question is:
Has anyone used the new kit to apply from outland as yet(living with spouse outland) and if so, how many of you were interviewed.

I am wondering if the new kit will result in less interview requests, especially if the sponsor lives with the spouse.

What do you guys think? And insight?

It means a decision has been made on your sponsor (probably to approve them, and begin the PA's processing).

Wow congrats! Looks like you've gotten SA Super exciting since we're on a similar timeline and I also didn't get AOR.

Nope, but I just got a suggestion from another poster to try calling CIC for an update.... after the 15th call or so of them being unable to transfer me to an agent, I'm finally on hold ... let's see what happens half an hour later.
