If sponsor owns a house, send proof of ownership/mortgage. If you will rent, start looking now and include potential properties/ rental listings. Having the sponsor's parents write a letter stating you will stay with them until you're on your feet will also suffice.

You could book a tentative or refundable flight, or send an itinerary of proposed travel plans.

Job offers or proof of actively seeking employment in Canada.

These are the kinds of things CIC wants to show that the sponsor intends on living in Canada.

For us, it took 6 weeks. My VO is Singapore.

Frequently when there is a document request the officer will put your file away for the 30 days they have given for you to submit the documents, and then open the file once again to check if they have been submitted. If this is the case you can expect PPR in the next 4-6 weeks.

Your ECAS still says in process because they are awaiting these documents to finalize your application, and therefore they have not reached a decision yet.

So he went for re medical and submitted the confirmation to CIC Manila thru email last July 6. CIC replied to confirm they received the email. Until now, we are waiting for the next step or update. When we check the status of the application online, no changes. How about you?
