Guysssss i got a call from Ankara visa office i am the sponsor and i am sponsoring my husband from Turkey.they asked me a few questions "where we met,how we met, when was the last time i saw my husbandc and when i plan to see him next." i got very nervous on the ihope i didny say anything wrong.....should i be expecting a decision made soon? I am so nervous..

Its a good sign at least they are working on your file.they interviewed you on call instead of face to face interview. but i am not cleared about why they called you instead of PA.because they usually call the PA for interview. Don't worry everything will be fine.
btw whats the maximum time your visa office takes for the decision made?

My timelines are on the left. I am trying to login to ECAS using my UCI # which I had got when I became a PR last year under FSW.

Until before I filed for my wife's PR, I could access ECAS, but ever since I cannot.

Can someone kindly guide me as to why I cannot access, and if others are able to, what details did they input differently, to be able to log-in.

mine has been at london for about 32 days and i haven't heard anything at all after AOR2. i feel like i'm getting closer to the moment of truth. i might even visit my mp soon to check up on the status of my file, because this suspense is absolutely killing me. i just want to know whether they've started processing, and if so, what stage they're at.

I was asked to submit my husband's medical on 19 February just after receiving AOR1 , medical sent on 22 February and He got second line appear in a week stating we start processing on your application on 25 February (Applicant side) I assume it as AOR2, am I right?
Since than I haven't received no update no emails...
But a friend of mine got decision made (applied November 2015) in six months frame LVO so I'm in positive vibes too.

I spoke to my lawyer he said sometimes they call the sponsor or PA or both. He said I should be expecting Decision Made in 1-2 months max. My Visa office processing times were showing 11 months in the old CIC but in the new one it says 17 months....but i know people that had processing in Ankara and it took max 5-6 months..

By the way the number that CIC called me from for the telephone interview was 613-385-3410 that is an Ottawa area code. But my Visa office is Ankara, why have they called me from Ottawa? or is that the line they probably use??

yup, they're gcms notes. they should be here by the middle of next week.

what i'm hoping to see is "in progress" for at least one of the checks they do on the PA, as that'll indicate that the VO is actively working on our files. if i only see "not started", then i'll go talk to my mp and see if he can give me the latest info.

yeah it does show "in process" for both sides, but i'm talking about the gcms notes specifically. that's the only real way to find out whether there's someone actively working on your file.

to answer your question from earlier, yes, seeing "in process" + "we started working" on the PR side is your AOR2.

ecas is finally showing "We started processing XXX's application on March 14, 2016." under the PR section (3 weeks after SA)!
Now the waiting begins...
