We submitted it around Sept 23rd, got in in the mail last week but they sent it to the wrong address so we had to get it shipped (we had called to change the address-sigh), so just sent it in today

Thanks. I submitted to CICs first - then realized a month later I had not started the FBI check. So I am expecting to get our FBI in Late April or May - about three months after the SA arrives. I am expecting we will need to submit proof we are awaiting FBI check. We registered the FBI response to go to a family member who is not moving so we would avoid the address change risk. My spouse is from the USA. We are optimistic we will also he assigned to Ottawa even though we applied while living in NYC. I am moving to Victoria BC in two weeks. We will send in a change of address. My spouse will maintain an address in Texas and visit me in BC.

Yeah. My spouse is American too. We had sent proof of having sent the FBI check in when we submitted originally.

Sounds good! Yeah it wasn't a big deal, they just sent it to his parent's place where he would be if he wasn't visiting here.

Which proof did you send that the FBI check was applied for?

A copy of the form all filled out, a copy of the receipt from sending it registered. I think that's it.

Question: When looking up ones application status,
1 - How long after AOR can I look up my status online?
2 - For Family name - when the last name of Sponsor is Jones and Last name of applicant is Smith Jr. which one is used on the site?
