Pretty great week for me. AOR, SA and a real first week at my new job.

My application was received by CIC December 5th, 2016. I called today, the agent was chantelle, she said I was approved to be a sponsor yesterday ( February 4) and that my file was in transit. She said it might take up to 4 weeks to receive the AOR mail or email, but I am already approved and hoping for SA soon. Anyone who has been waiting for more than 62 days, I advise you to call CIC, they will tell you the status of your application.

Hi all - as you will see from the spreadsheet I sent my application from Australia on 25/11. Have no idea if package even arrived safely. Any advice on who to call or what email I should use to inquire as to status? My only hope is that the delivery took longer than usual and is close to being opened. I estimate the package would have arrived around 10 or 11 December. Thanks.

Hi I was chasing my AOR when I called - purely coincidentally, while on the phone my email arrived saying our application had been received. The phone number works and if you get someone who tries to just say wait, explain to them that your date is at he 62 day mark. We were worried we were on hold as we had to submit a doc earlier when I submitted. He was in the process of investigating my application when the email arrived.

We're going to go out and get the FBI thingy int he mail to CPC-O today, and then hopefully it gets to our application and then when someone opens the file to process it's complete..

just wanted to say thanks to all of you at canadavisa.com. long way to go yet, but getting AOR + SA tells me that at least we've taken that first two steps in the right direction. i'm pretty sure that i wouldn't even have made it to AOR if it hadn't been for the guidance and support i got from here. thank you to everyone, and i'll be praying that we all get through this quickly.

In the original application I had forgotten to submit one form. It was an oversight. It put us back five days
