It's kinda annoying that earlier this year AOR took on average 28-32 days, now its 48-55 :/
^ Hoping for AOR ASAP for all of us!

We're very thrown off by CIC's new 'one-fits-all' processing time, too.

That trend doesnt relate to it though, looking at the 2015 outland spreadsheet for the forum, in July/Aug-ish AOR was taking 30 days, but Oct/Nov it's taking 50. So it's just them being slower now than they were. Im still not really feeling that the 18 month thing is gonna change much that hasn't already changed.

True - we are estimating AOR to take 50-60 days anyway - however in regards to the whole processing time w/ our Warsaw VO we were hopeful to see a more accurate figure this quarter as usual, rather than one overview figure. Oh well!

Happy New Year ayrazar - thanks for keeping this thread going, and thanks to crzy_canadian for the original spreadsheet!

Good luck to all.

Happy New Year to you too Antareson!

Hah, I'm just a chatterbox :X
Nonsense! We are all just waiting so patiently - irregardless of our submission dates. We really can’t wait for the day that you receive your AOR - because then it means that we are not far behind! :)

I don't understand it really! I have got updates from friends that it took them less than 3 mnths in total for most, but I don't understand why it might take longer for later applications...

Hey everyone. Can you please advise me with one question?
I am a permanent resident of Canada wanting to sponsor my girlfriend as we want to get married and settle here in Toronto. Do I need to send proof of a minimal income to apply for the sponsorship process?

You do not need proof of a minimal income to sponsor your spouse. If you're employed, you need to provide employment and income info. If you're unemployed, you need to show how you plan to support yourself and your spouse (savings, letters from family who will support you financially etc.). They just want to make sure that you won't be asking for government assistance for yourself and your spouse; after all, you sign an undertaking to financially support your spouse for a while :)

Let's hope that they officers have returned to work fully charged after the holidays, and they will go through the files faster.
An AOR for Valentine's day wouldn't be bad at all ;D
