HI EVERYONE!

My application was received on December 21st

I applied to sponsor my husband from Poland. I've had a bad experience with documents sent by CIC/ Ontario Office being lost, especially on the way to Poland. In particular, I never received my marriage certificate that was sent to Poland.

Now, the problem is that the way you write the address in Poland is different than in Canada. The street number is placed after the street name. What can I do to make sure, that if CIC sends me any letters it is sent to the correct address. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they send documents with registered mail?

I will appreciate any help and HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOR EVERYONE!

My friend, if you think it could be confusing, then carefully write out everything.
Ex; Street N0 xx, House N0xxx, STreet Name xxx.

Hi!

As far as I know, all outland applicants must submit the medical test together with the application package.

Sent the application package on 23rd December. Tracked the number and it shows that the parcel will be delivered on 30th December.

I have applied to sponsor my wife from Poland - looks like we submitted our applications very close together!

We don't really have a concern about the address format - these address formats are standard across the majority of EU and CIC knows this. The Warsaw Visa office (and Canadian Embassy, for example) have this same address format as well.

Regarding sending with registered mail - I'm not sure, but I would sure hope so given the amount of confidential and personal information provided.

If you are still concerned, perhaps once you receive AOR you could call CIC to confirm the address that you submitted and reaffirm to them the street, number, etc.

Jezeli martwisz sie, ze CIC nie zaadresuje prawidlowo Twojej korespondencji, dolacz zalacznik z dokladnym adresem (tak aby widzieli, co ma byc w ktorej linijce itd). Przy rubryce z adresem napisz "see attached" albo nawet zrob mala notatke. Powodzenia!

MY Application is received in Mississauga according to courier tracker. Do they start working on the application on the same day or few days later? do i count the days from the day it is received?

They won't strat working on it for about 50 days. App received for the spreadsheet etc is the day the courier says it was delivered :3

A month today since they received my app! It actually went quickly for me can't wait for AOR :3

mine was on 9 Dec and signed by Shannon through UPS. Any one here knows her? Still haven't got any AOR...Why the processing time has been changed to a fix number, 18 mnths, for all? It was a table with visa office info accordingly. Is it a new format?Also says:
"Includes assessment of sponsor: 10 days"
What does this one mean?

I think it means the time between AOR and SA is approximately 10 days. And that's about it. I'm really not reading anything into the 18months thing. Even with the table the times were inaccurate mostly, so meh.

I've been trying to keep the spreadsheet in order. Can't wait until we can start adding AORs!

It's kinda annoying that earlier this year AOR took on average 28-32 days, now its 48-55 :/
