DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Hi guys,

we got our SA not too long ago (yay!!!) and now they've updated the PR application status to "in process", I guess that means they're sending the rest of the application to Vienna right now, correct?
What's the next step? Are we going to get AOR2 per email or mail once it's arrived, or what is this AOR2 about?
What if they still require additional documents (i.e. my Medical lacks the X ray results as I'm still pregnant and my police certificate might have expired in the mean time...), are they going to send us those requirements along with the AOR2?

Congrats. i guess my visa office is pretty slow. i just want to poke them.
BTW how r u getting login to? by using the sponsor's info or by using the applicants' info?
i cannot login to the ECAS using the applicants info the the UCI.

I'm always using the sponsors info & UCI. I've never tried applicant (=myself)

Don't worry! Mine took a little over a week before the PR application changed to in process. it's been about 1.5 weeks now and still no update on the application side even though it says "IN PROCESS"

Hi Friends, question to the forum:
1)My SA application and PR application status are in "In Process", sponsored my wife. She had to apply for a reissue of her passport. How can she update the VO with her new passport number?
2) She recently got a job, does she need to update about her work status to VO? As, when she applied for the visa she was a homemaker!

Don't have an answer for you sorry, but I am curious as well to know if we are required to let the VO know that the applicant has renew/reissue their passport. I will have to renew mine in May and not really sure if I should send the VO something.
All I could find on the CIC site is about change of address.

If your application is already in progress, use the Client Application Status (CAS) service. This online service allows you to view the status of your immigration and/or citizenship application online.

You can also use the Case Specific Enquiry link on the website for the visa office if:

you wish to report important changes regarding your application, such as
births,
deaths,
marriages,
divorces,
adoptions,
changes in address,
changes in employment,
acquisition of a new educational credential or
results of an approved language test;
you are seeking information that is not available via the Client Application Status service; or
the processing of your application is taking longer than the normal processing time (you will not get an answer if the normal processing time has not yet elapsed).

Hi guys..
I'm a January applicant. The SA thing is getting me a little confused.Some of the January applicant already got their SA. I even have the same timeline with someone and she already got the SA,I'm still waiting on mine.
As I read on this thread some people haven't got their SA's yet. I was just curious,does that mean it depends on who's working on our application?

Once you receive your SA, it now important to just concentrate on applicants status... I was also given SA and mine also shows in process but on applicants side we are already in AOR 2, bi would worry anymore about sponsorship side

• This has most likely been asked multiple times, but what now? Do we wait for AOR2?

Also I believe the spreadsheet needs to be fixed? Under "No of Days since SA" it says -1 under mine lol.
