Hello guys,

We did our medicals on 25 June and got TLU one week after, but we are still waiting for passport request. Why does it take so long, should I write them an email, is it normal to wait almost 2 months for PR? I know that we should sit back and relax, but I am getting worry a bit. Please advice!

Regards,
Boban

I am also at same stage. i have submitted medical receipts and other docs on 28 june and TLU a week later. .Now i am also getting worry. But my consultant told me, normally it takes three months.. :-[ :-[

3 months? :( But someone gets it in only 3 weeks. Lets hope that your consultant is wrong :) Take care!

Yes you are right , but it may actually depends on Visa Office and personally it seems WVO is quite slow.

Collected my Passports today. with the corrected COPR.

I also have this condition on my Wife's COPR

Code: S2.02Medical condition: Inactive pulmonary tuberculosis
Timeframe: Within 30 days of landing in Canada

Hello,

If anyone who has applied under FSWP from within Canada or anybody who knows please advise.

Our FSWP is under processing and we have submitted MR and paid RPRF. We plan to travel outside Canada for 5 weeks between Jan-feb 2016. Is it advisable to travel while the PR file is under processing, are there any rules stating the right and wrong? My husband has Post-graduate Work Permit and I have Spouse work permit valid till 2017. We both are presently in Toronto. Responses are much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello everyone....we did our medicals last Wednesday n paid RPRF online n emailed RPRF receipt n emailed passport copies....
Some folks suggested me to also courier all these docs...but WVO email stated either email or courier - so I just emailed it....
how long does it take to reflect it on our ECAS saying medicals received????

Hi All,

My Case is also same.

Application returned from CIC on 5th March 2015. But still haven't got my application package back. (today 21s Aug 2015).

Can you please help in my below query.

1 ) As per CIC , they returned the package with regular mail (I think Canada Post) so delivers for Canada Post in India.
2) My address is Bhopal (M.P) , So if in india the packages delivered by India Post which office should i contact , My local post office says that they haven't got any package also Bhopal G.P.O replied the same.

Just to add on , I called CIC on 20th Aug 2015 and check return address and it is correct , and they haven't got my application back as undelivered.

Any links or suggestions will be helpful

Hi Bobansto2002,

I would say yes - that on an average it could take from few weeks to 3 or 4 months mostly depending upon the complexity of the applicant's application. example, one pcc from native country vs multiple pccs where latter could delay the process.

I did my medicals on 3rd june and tlu is sometime post 20th june (i delayed to check everyday)...still awaiting PPR coz I had to submit 4 pccs and the last/4th pcc was received by WVO was on 14th july. In this forum, I was told I may expect PPR between 15th to 30 th sep.

Another factor, I noted in the forum that security check will be done by 3rd party agencies where CIC has no control over the 3rd party agencies over the time consumed by them while doing the check.

Any corrections or questions pls let me know.

Cheers,
K.

Not sure about luck. But speed of processing depends to some extent upon complexity of the file and number of dependents.

Bring Forward Date may also affect the overall processing. Suppose bring forward date of your file is 1st August, Visa Officer will open your file for review. If required documents/details are received and available, VO fill go for further steps and if required documents/details are not received, VO will allot further Bring Forward Date and close the file till next bring forward date. So, till next date, no update is made to file.

Cheers,
K.
