I received MR on May 8th. I did my Medical on May 18th. I sent the payment receipt on May 28th. I am still waiting for Passport Request. How long did the process took for you after the Medical is done?

Hello all,

Need your guidance w.r.t getting police clearance certificate. I belong to karachi, pakistan and have some following queries on the subject:

1. Do i need to obtain PCC for all the addresses i mentioned in background declaration form or only for current address?
2. What docs are required for this process and would it be made from any local police station or headquarters?
3. How much time it would take to get this PCC?

Prompt replies on the matter are highly appreciated.

Hi,

Based on my personnel experience i have got my PCC done from Rawalipindi in 1 day. The procedure is first got to the local police station and get the forms, the local police verify that you dont have any criminal record then take that form to the tehsil police station at get the stamp from there. The last stage is to the city ( In my case its Rawalpindi) and they will verify all the details and give it back the same day or max next day.

Try to get the PCC for six months at the minimum.

I received confirmation for receiving the file on 14 March, 2015 and on 8 May AOR, in which we were informed that file shifted to Columbo, since then I am waiting for medical but so far have not got any information, please inform me where should I contact. I will be really thankful to you.

MXH(london) says file is in qeue to be processed by immigration officer.

Should expect a medical call soon or wait for months?

I am asked to submit 8 photos and heigh, eye color information at the time of interview scheduled next month, however I had not received the photo specification or heigh and eye color attachments.

What do you mean by "automatic mode"? Is it just a saying or a phrase? Aren't the things going on basis "who applies first, goes first"?

In reference to your queries:
1. TLU generally takes 2-3 weeks to get updated after your medicals.
2. Message you get in TLU - we have received your medicals.

You should sit back and relax. Your application is now in automatic mode! All the steps will keep happening
