Hello Everyone,

On 13 June ECAS second line updated that We start processing your application on 10 June but till now I did not receive the medical email. Is it normal??

At CPC-Ottawa the gap between start processing and MR can be anywhere from 0 to 73 days following the spreadsheet. The average waiting time is a few days. Since you got SLU just last week, nothing to worry much about.

Hello everyone,
CIC received my FSW application on December 17 2014 at NOVASCOTIA office
Money Draft was charged on Feb 10 2015.
PER email received on March 4 2015.
Till then i didn't get any email or notification about my application.
I called them 4 times, only one rep told me my application was sent to
Ottowa on March 19 2015.

Is the processing time very slow now?
Need an expert opinion.

At least you know that the application is in Ottawa, I don't even know that. My only progress only shows App received. I got my PER email on Feb 24 and nothing since. My ECAS says updated 2015-06-02, so not sure what is going on there. But it appears that Ottawa is running slow.

lucky you..that you have an update there are many of us early dec guys who are still waiting..
earlier we used to get the the email first then the update ..but now days updates are coming first and then Emails are coming ..
so dont worry its normal..just wait for the MR mail..and congratulations..!!

Dont worry friend there are lot of people with the similar time line waiting for MR.

I am not quite sure whether there are special rules applyed in Pakistan. However, you can simply visit the nearest police station in your area where you live currently and they will tell you what to do. that is the way it is in Egypt and UAE as per my experience.

What I am sure about is that it is only one certificate for each country you stayed in for a continuous period of 6 months or longer since age of 18.

Yeah I'll ask the local police station about this, and will update.

Hi

I am in a limbo totally. My application reached CIC on 5 December and even after 5 months I had no reply. I sent Inquiries to which I got no reply. When I called CIC they told me I was not listed in the computer hence I should wait. After waiting for another 3 weeks I called again and after much chasing I was told (a) I was listed under my maiden name hence earlier agents couldn't locate my name and (b) my file was returned on 2 January as I had not attached the DOB certificate. Which was a lie. Before getting this info I had written to Inquiry to which I got a reply last week that since there are loads of applications I should wait to receive my file number. NOW my concerns are as follows:

1) First they couldn't locate my name and when they did and gave me a UCI number I was told I am listed with my maiden name and NOT the name that I had filled in the Generic form or all other forms. Why this discrepancy?

2) An agent tells me my file has been returned and till date - which means almost 6 months I have still not received my file - the local PO insist they have not received it.

3) I got a reply to my mail sent in April in which I had written CIC can't locate my name/file - to which I got a reply that due to extra work load there could be a delay, hence I should wait. AND they mentioned my UCI also which I had not got at that time. So how come they have the ID but not the status as told by the agent? Do you think there has been a miscommunication?

Need some guidance from seniors in this group please.
