DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

yes I live in Germany,
and I have not received anything from the visa office. Not even a confirmation that my files have reached them.
Did you ask for a confirmation or did they just send it to you automatically? I mean if our timeline is identical don't you thin a dealay of a few weeks would make more sense than 2 month?
I mean when I look at the processing times for Vienna I don't worry at all I mean 27 month. Is that right?

I try to be calm and relax because there is nothing I can do now anyways.

Well, when I applied, I had requested for New Delhi VO, as I am an Indian.
Sometime in late March, I approached NDVO as I wanted to add my wife to the application.

They replied back on 9th April, telling me that my file has gone to Vienna.

I then emailed Vienna and they confirmed over email that they received file on 7th April.

Otherwise, they did not send any email or confirmation as such on their own.

Looking at timelines of some of the members of Vienna VO, I am anticipating MR either this week or next week latest.

Well, when I applied, I had requested for New Delhi VO, as I am an Indian.
Sometime in late March, I approached NDVO as I wanted to add my wife to the application.

They replied back on 9th April, telling me that my file has gone to Vienna.

I then emailed Vienna and they confirmed over email that they received file on 7th April.

Otherwise, they did not send any email or confirmation as such on their own.

Looking at timelines of some of the members of Vienna VO, I am anticipating MR either this week or next week latest.

Okay sounds god. So the 27 month of processing time is not something to take serious?
Which email did you send your request to? Did you find it on their website? I think a confirmation, that my application has reached their office would calm me down a lot!

Let's just hope for the best.

You need to raise a case specific query through online portal.
They normally email back within 2-3 days.

called cic 2nd time to know about my visa office ....
As before she denied.....
Ad told 2 possible reasons .... 1) my file is not transferred yet to any visa office ...
2) visa office has not done the complete processing of file till date ...
But then what is the meaning of SLU....??

SLU is second line update.
In most of the cases, it is an acknowledgement by the concerned VO that they have received your file.
Not all VOs create SLU. For example, I did not get any.

However, looking at your timeline, your file must have already been transferred to a VO.

okay where exactly did you do that on the website? Inside of the "On-Line Services"?

I basically asked them the same question.
Something like this:

"I have an FSW application in progress with UCI no XXXXXX.
I wish to include my wife to this application.
I got in touch with NDVO, and they advised me that my file is with Vienna VO.
Request you to please confirm the same and also advise me the requirements for adding my spouse."

In response, they said 2 things:
i. They confirmed that file was received on 7th April.
ii. They sent me a checklist of documents to update and send back to them for my wife.

Once I couriered the documents to them, they sent me another email confirming the receipt of the courier.

So far, I have felt that Vienna VO replies to emails and queries very promptly.
All my communication so far has been answered within 2-3 days.

Raise a case specific query with NDVO.
If they answer your query, it means they have your application.

If they do not have, they will redirect you to right VO.

How can I contact NDVO and how should I ask them....
Ie should I directly ask them if they have received my application?

I last checked eCAS late last night and still only the 1st line of application received was showing.

I just checked moments ago and I have the 2nd Line update!!!!!

1.We received your application for permanent residence on December 24, 2014.

2.We started processing your application on May 29, 2015.

I still haven't received MR or RPRF but at least I see some sort of movement! I was so excited to see a message from another person last night who had the same application date and a PER date only one day sooner but got MR +RPRF yesterday (6/1) Maybe I'll see MR and RPRF soon too!!! Exciting!!!
