Hi All,,

Kindly assist with my query as I`m getting really confused here...My docs were received on 31st dec 2014. Since then I haven't received any update from their side. Any idea how do i check the status of my application. I have dropped an email to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca but haven't received any reply. Couldn't get to a person on call who could have answered my query.

I checked with CIC yesterday and the lady said to wait till April 06, 2015 and if you don't get an update call us back...

Unfortunately, that is the case. I am a Dec 30th applicant and I am anxiously waiting to hear anything from CIC. I just hope I made it into the cap.

My application was received on Dec 31st for category 1123. My credit card is still not charged and they haven't reverted on anything...is this usual? I did get a confirmation on my file received by some dude at the intake office... anyone else Dec 31st who has received a response or still waiting...

Hi Everyone,
I am a December 30th applicant. I am trying to understand and figure out why it is taking so long to hear from CIC. My thoughts are that if they are only counting "complete" applications in the cap, then they have to do a completeness check for all applications (if the NOC category is still available), before saying the global cap is filled. Yes, I do believe they got more than 25000 applications, but I am not sure that they got "complete" applications. Therefore, I still think there may be hope for persons who applied on the Dec 30th of December. We just need to be patient and ...wait. Do you think this may be a possibility?

There are many Dec 30-31 applicants. I called CIC and the lady told me to just wait. What's hard is that she said she can't find my file in their system.

And I asked here why is that? She replied I dont know. I asked again "Do you know if the global cap is filled?" She replied I dont know again.

Well, we just have to wait until April for any news.

Some vo never send aor

And regarding mr its again depend on vo some issue after a month and some after 3-4 months its all depends on vo(visa office)

My files was received on 30 dec as well. My noc is 1212.
But i just wandered that what is the meaning of global cap, is that means overall global cap or special global noc cap. To my way of thinking, it has two meanings.
Furthermore, i guess people who receive the mail mentioned that overall 25000 cap was reached may be send their files on december and their files were received in january, then the reply is that overall cap was reached.

I am 2133 applicant. My application received at CIO on 20th Dec'14. I saw many applicant whose DD not yet charged even after 4 months. So, I am surprised, when can I expect my DD to be charged???

Call ur bank to check whether ur dd is encashed or not. Very few banks provide the right status but worth trying

Call CIC to check the status of your application. Pls keep trying continuously day after day till u get hold of an agent. Unfortunately this is the only way to know the status.
