Well, someone recently posted that the new minimum points to get an ITA (Invitation to Apply) in the most recent draw was 419. If this is the case, I think most people with a Master's degree or a PhD, would qualify. Why don't you perform a self assessment and check. Also, you can create a profile in EE, and see. I don't think (correct me if I am wrong here) you have to pay the application fees until you get the ITA.

Called the CIC for my PER mail and was informed that my application is under further verification, does that mean they are rechecking again my application? if so, what do you think they are looking for?

I've been a silent reader all this time. Just want to share with you regarding my app.

App. date: 31 Dec 2014 (received by Donnie)
NOC: 2241

I just finished talking to a CIC agent and she informed me that my application was returned due to NOC cap reached. No mention of global cap. Another setback but life goes on for me. It was a good try and a good test of patience

Hi ,

I think your application would have finished the completeness check and would be under eligibility review in which they calculate your JD as per the NOC you had mentioned. Once that is done they will send you a PER
