Is it mandatory to receive AOR or the Visa Office can skip this and request MR?

Because here in Brazil no one I know received AOR.

As per the info notes which I read...it's only VO who will send the MR request...so till the till they don't receive the file..how can VO people can ask for MR...and AOR will be given by CIC...which means their job has been done...it's only VO people now who have to give the go ahead....any other info u get, pls let us know...

They are releasing PER mails faster these days and charge slower , I guess they want to take PER date to charge date , and finish the fsw2014 with charging and giving PER at the same time to the last applicants of December. This is my self assumption but at least it is optimistic idea for worried guys

If CIC reject your application, they will send you an email called NER
If CIC accept your application, they will send you an email called PER.

So no matter what, you will get an email from them telling what is their decision. Until that happens, we all are still in the race. Be patient and enjoy your days by not worrying something that is not in our control now.

I cannot see the original question you responded to but in recent times CIC doesn't issue NER email.
It goes thus: Completeness check, if app is deemed complete, CC is charged and application placed into processing by CIO and sent to VO. If Application is deemed incomplete by CIO it is returned to applicant without sending any EMAIL. The applicant just gets Application package in Mailbox no EMAIL sent. So email is sent out if your application is good enough for them to process.

In times past there is possibility to issue NER after being Charged but I have not seen this process happened to anyone in the past year now.

Just checked this information with São Paulo Visa Office and they told me that they don't send AOR to nobody, Unfortunatelly. We need to wait The update on our ECAS says "we started processing your application".

After that, SPVO send The medical request.

DD Encashed on 25.02.2015. Called CIC yesterday, they r telling that my UCI no is not generated yet, wait for couple of weeks or a month.....Is it possible??? What is happening??

As I can remember, The agent told me that info 2 or 3 days before charge. But he said that had certain that my app wasn't sent back.

How is your app going? Did u call them today?

I have The same charge date as you. Take time to CIC generate your UCI number on their system. Don't worry about that.
