Dear December Friends,
I read through all the pages from last night up to now and i noticed few disagreements / arguments raising up. I think this is because all of us are in a very tense situation and everyone take their Canada dream quite seriously.
So let me please share with you guys some knowledge i gathered by reading through the old posts and see whether these info can calm down you guys.
First and for most, Application process in CIO until PER can be described as follows.
Application receive @ CIC >>> Date Stamp >>> Completeness Check >>> CC Charged >>> ECAS go live >>> PER
There can be many reasons which can cause your application to get delayed along the way....
1.Documents are not in order as in the checklist and documents are not so straight forward to clarify - If your documents eg: Birth certs, Educational certs, marriage certs, work experience letters..etc are not really easy to clarify during the completeness check and specially in the eligibility check, it can cause a longer time for the officer to give marks and finalize the eligibility review.
2.If an application consist of few dependents - This can cause some delays as if a main applicant has provide their dependents' information and the CIC need some time to check the dependent's documents as well eg: spouse educational certs, marriage certs, spouse travell history, children's details...etc. A single applicants application is quite simple and less time consuming to check than a whole family's application.
3.If an applicant claim points for adaptability - If someone claim points for adaptability by giving details of their relatives as sponsors, CIC need time to review those details and check the genuineness of the data you have provided. So it takes some extra time as well.
4.If an applicant claim points for arrange employment in Canada - CIC will spend time on checking the details of the arranged employment such as company details, your work experience to get this job...etc
5.If an applicant send a DD as the payment mode - By now all of us know that if we send a DD, it will take 3-10 working days to get an update where as a CC is an instant mode where applicant gets a real time update by sms /email / bank statement update.
These are some of the reasons which cause the outcome from CIC to be delayed. This is why you may notice some applications get delay by few days to get charged or get PER where some applications get charged on the dot according to the application received date at CIO.
***Please note that these reasons can ONLY cause a delay but not any rejection or negative impact.
So my dear friends, (specially our beloved 29th, 30th, 31st friends) please be calm and hope for the best as you can already notice some 29th Dec applicants are getting charged these days and your turn is just around the corner.
Good luck guys!!
