Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Dear December Friends,

I read through all the pages from last night up to now and i noticed few disagreements / arguments raising up. I think this is because all of us are in a very tense situation and everyone take their Canada dream quite seriously.

So let me please share with you guys some knowledge i gathered by reading through the old posts and see whether these info can calm down you guys.

First and for most, Application process in CIO until PER can be described as follows.

Application receive @ CIC >>> Date Stamp >>> Completeness Check >>> CC Charged >>> ECAS go live >>> PER

There can be many reasons which can cause your application to get delayed along the way....

1.Documents are not in order as in the checklist and documents are not so straight forward to clarify - If your documents eg: Birth certs, Educational certs, marriage certs, work experience letters..etc are not really easy to clarify during the completeness check and specially in the eligibility check, it can cause a longer time for the officer to give marks and finalize the eligibility review.

2.If an application consist of few dependents - This can cause some delays as if a main applicant has provide their dependents' information and the CIC need some time to check the dependent's documents as well eg: spouse educational certs, marriage certs, spouse travell history, children's details...etc. A single applicants application is quite simple and less time consuming to check than a whole family's application.

3.If an applicant claim points for adaptability - If someone claim points for adaptability by giving details of their relatives as sponsors, CIC need time to review those details and check the genuineness of the data you have provided. So it takes some extra time as well.

4.If an applicant claim points for arrange employment in Canada - CIC will spend time on checking the details of the arranged employment such as company details, your work experience to get this job...etc

5.If an applicant send a DD as the payment mode - By now all of us know that if we send a DD, it will take 3-10 working days to get an update where as a CC is an instant mode where applicant gets a real time update by sms /email / bank statement update.

These are some of the reasons which cause the outcome from CIC to be delayed. This is why you may notice some applications get delay by few days to get charged or get PER where some applications get charged on the dot according to the application received date at CIO.

***Please note that these reasons can ONLY cause a delay but not any rejection or negative impact.

So my dear friends, (specially our beloved 29th, 30th, 31st friends) please be calm and hope for the best as you can already notice some 29th Dec applicants are getting charged these days and your turn is just around the corner.

Good luck guys!!

PS : Although i wrote these things in my own words, credit goes to all the seniors in this forum who shared these information earlier in other threads :)

Thnx for your descriptive post. After working hard in accumulating required docs and sending the application just on time if we get to hear that the NOC has been capped it is disheartening and ones gets shattered knowing that it is one of the coldest NOC. other NOC that were ahead it terms of number of applicatons received are still getting charged whigh makes us unrest.

Having said that we could only pray to God and wait, wait and wait for some news.

I made payment via DD, it was made by my consultant and now they are unable to trace it's status. It was verified by the agent that their system is displaying that it was recieved on December 22nd but she said that application number hasn't been assigned yet.
Thinking all the best for you faraz, it is so hard waiting.

+1 !!
I think CIC doesn't have exact rule to work but just put the documents below the piled files when they are not 100% clear.
Thank you for your comment.

i have a relatives living in Canada. I have provided all the necessary documents to prove a relationship. I just notice that all the necessary docs have my aunt's address but no phone number. is it possible that they may want to contact her, but it is not possible becaouse of absence of her phone number? did someone from CIC contact your relatives in Canada anyhow??? My application was recieved on the 16 of DEc, 2014? CC was charged on the 9th of FEb, my ECas account is already alive, however didn't get the PER yet. Worried a bit.

Hi doctoress,
I have claimed points for relatives in canada as well.
Regarding this, have you provided a birth certificate showing that you have direct relationship with your aunt like is that a sibling of your mother or father.
I have provided as well the Citizenship Card and Revenue Tax billing.
But I don't remember that there is a field that requires you to provide the phone number.
For me, I provided the birth certificate of my brother showing that we have common parents (father and/or mother).

Regarding your PER, don't worry much. In few days time, you will receive your PER as well.

Guys,

Whose report do you believe?

I beseech you by the mercies of the Lord not to loose hope. Let your faith prevail and remain prayerful.

It is well. That was what the Spirit of God told me yesterday.

Hey , you don't need to be worried, no one who got charged on 9th Feb hasn't received PER mail yet. I got charged on 9th Dec as well and waiting for PER today. The good sign is your ECAS that shows you will get PER

Thanks for your reply. Yes I sent them my aunt's and my mom's BCs, I also sent my aunt's Marriage Certificate, cuz she changed her last name and also included some bills, credit card payments etc. Despite all this docs, CIC has my information since I was 10 y\o. I used to spend my summer holidays at my aunt's house in TOronto. and I also lived there for 3 years from 2007 to2010. I believe they might claimed for police clearance certificate and this may take couple of days to obtain. I got worried cuz there are people who got charged after feb 9 already have PER
