I am 12 Dec applicant, Just now I called CIC, the agent said that my File is "Accepted" and is in "under review", I asked for the cap status, he said "I am not sure, but you have a client ID generated and your File seems to be within the CAP". he has shared UCI number as well. Don't know whats going on at CIC end.

Is your payment mode dd or cc. Please do let us know when you get charge. You hold the key to the future of charging or encashment for this NOC

Any hint what that might mean?

Don't worry , It's not rare as your application is 30 Dec , They are yet to check and charge 29 Dec applicants

Hi here_I_come,

I called CIC again, entering the UCI number provided in the last call , this time the agent was a lady and she told me that "As we speak CIC is reviewing your file", wish her words have the literal meaning .
The agent told that Application number is yet to be created for your file and the file is under review with CIC.
Note : Application number is not UCI( I didn't know this earlier) .

Could someone please let me know what is the average time between the PER and Receiving the Medical request in Ottawa visa office ?

I've received my PER on 24th of Feb. 2015 .. I'm a single applicant ( no dependents or spouse ), so I guess my file is very simple.

When should I expect my MR ( hopefully ) ??

They don't tell you over the phone whether you will get charge ro reject , you can just ask them for your UCI number , but not yet . About 2 more days

It should have been charged till now but depends on NOC too. what is your noc ?

UCI stands for “unique client identifier.” It is also known as a client identification number (client ID). It appears on official documents you get from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). It has four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers. (Example: 0000-0000).
You can use it to track your application status online

You are not rejected. Depending on your NOC you will be charge soon. stay calm

Guys called CIC.. The operator gave me my file number.. Checked my status online with that number and it says " in process" does that mean a PER??? As I am yet to receive an email. Please let me know!
