Don't let it get to you so much. Honestly, it's not the end of the world. We have no choice but to wait. What I would suggest is that you make your other preparations, like trying to establish you network in Canada, etc. From what I've read in the other threads, finding a job in your line of work is not exactly a cakewalk. You need to know people who can get you jobs. Apparently influence and referrals are more important in Canada than even in India. So start networking, find where would be the ideal place for you to live, where the jobs are, etc. It'll keep you busy, and keep your mind off that darned PER.

You can check your ECAS before PER as well... It normally got alive after 10 to 15 days after payment got charged... You can check by following link.

Well said Rahul...its not easy to go and manage in alltogether a new country...I am not able to imagine that how will i be able to find a job there...but I think we should think positive...be confident and trust our decisions...hey u know..i heard there are agencies in canada who helps u finding jobs there...so lets see...wat happens...
