I hope that the slow-charging period is officially over and that they will again be as fast with charging as they were about a month ago...

App. Filed and received.......: 15 December 2014 but no response or any sort of confirmation yet.

Has the cap been reached for NOC 1123?

I would appreciate any insight because the anxiety is reflecting on my physical well being.

I have managed to apply on December 15th 2014 for FSW, under Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations (NOC 1123).

According to DHL, someone at the designated address (CIC in Nova Scotia) has received my file.

But since then I have received no confirmation or any sort of message from CIC or any other party regarding the status of my application. I am not even sure if they actually received it (although DHL has a signed reception report confirming it).

Any idea how can I follow it up? Should I be more patient? The cheque which I sent and my credit card are both not processed for the fee yet.

Does the lack of communication at this stage mean I failed?

Does that mean CIC actually corresponds with failed applicants? I should still hear from them if my app is not eligible?

Filed dec 15 2015, NOC 1123, cap was around 460, still no fee processing or PER.

my file was recieved at CIC on 10th december 2014, and i called CIC last thursday 12/12/2014 to check the status for my app, and the lady told me that my file is still waiting, which means that it didn't return back yet, ok Huh

Today i realized that i did a stupid mistake, which is i sent a debit card number not a credit card
so i sent them an email and will call CIC again today or tomorrow, bcz today is off, and ask them if they can hold my file untill i send them a new fee form

any suggestions brothers Huh?

IF what they say is true and file is still waiting, I'd hurry to send new payment method forms by COURIER (mentioning NOC, receive date, Date of Birth, Passport and Name), with a cover letter asking to replace the old form due to a mistake.

But based on the recv date and previous similar posts, its more likely too late, and you should be ready for a return of your file...

I personally don't think it matters whether it is a debit card or a credit card. The card should have sufficient balance to cover the fees when they process it. If it is a debit card, make sure your corresponding bank account has enough credits to support any transaction, and that the debit card does not expire soon. That's all.

You dont need to make a fuss over it.

There have been cases were folks have couriered + emailed as well as faxed the details. Its best to do all three approach!!!

@ Ahmed,
Just make sure that your card is well funded, be it credit or debit card will suffice for your payment.
I have heard of people who deliberately used their Debit cards details and they were debited and have made progress in their applications.
