Hi..can any anyone share cic contact number with options used to connect cic agents

I just called CIC, Lady asked me my information and then replied that we have received your application on 2nd jan 2015, which is a express entry profile and i have created it

then i asked no i have send my app in dec 3rd for FSWP 14 program she said let me check and then said no we don't have any data of that application, I asked can you confirm me that the application i send on nova scotia through mail can conflict with express entry profile ? she said nope that couldn't conflict. then i asked about the status of Cap 2281 which she give a same reply that we don't have access to that.

I have withdraw my application from express entry pool coz thats making so much confusion whenever i call, I hope CIC enter our application details soon and charge our DD of noc 2281.

Guys please comment is it possible that our ( 2281 dec ) applicant have no data still in Cic database???

I am 10 dec, 2172 appplicant, i have got cc charged at 31 january. I need to know when i am expected to receive the PER.


Another, question: My kid was born, so how should i deal with the situation and inform CIC.

For the moment wait for the PER which can take 20-30 days from Charge date.
Once ur local VO issues AOR, u can inform them about new born by mail and they will guide u in next stages

NO this is not the case.

CIO was closed only 25th and 26th December for holidays. All other days except sundays, CIO was receiving applications till 31st December.

i have a friend also who has applied in the same NOC and who is a 16th Nov applicant with a DD but still no updated for him also.

i am not sure about if the CAP has filled or not .. i would also like to know George's views on it.

Try this method.

Call on 1-613-944-4000. (International number) Try with Skype or magic jack (free calls to Canada)
Use options 1 1 1 Line will be transferred to CIO.
Use options 1 1 3
You will be asked application number thrice. Do not enter anything.
Line will be transferred to a CIC call centre officer..

Ask for the UCI number giving the reasons why you want the same. They will ask you some details which you need to provide. If you are lucky you might just get the UCI number.

what is the diff in UCI instead of PER?

UCI is just like a barcode or unique number for your all correspondences and follow up with CIC.
If you know databases then in database language it is the primary key of your profile in CIC.

.PER is just abbreviation for postivie eligibility review. Which means that in initial review your application seems to be valid for issuance of PR visa. But it is just preliminary assessment.

2281- was having 715-applications as per 16th Dec update of CIC. No intention to disappoint you but this NOC was hot NOC.

Don't worry till 23rd of Feb and even till end of feb, there is no need to worry about. Yes if more then 40-days you don't hear then you can think of contacting CIC by yourself.

But i am sure you will get PER by 23rd of Feb.
