DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hi friends,

I am a 9th december Applicant from India. My NOC is 2172. If God Forbid, my application is returned then what is the estimated time to get back the package or if it has to be returned, then it would have been in January itself.

My second query is, when should I call my bank to know about my DD status.

Please share your insight.

Hi Hopefulimmigrant,

First and for most, Do not lose hope!!

Check when was the last CC charged date for NOC 2172 in the spreadsheet. If there are later applicants than 9th Dec applicants whos CC was charged, then you might be safe (provided your documents are all complete in your application package). DD people will take longer time to get an update from their bank than CC people bcos DD takes time to be encashed.

For the return package, it will take from 2 weeks to 2 months sometimes, cos they send it in normal post.

For the DD status, you may even call the bank everyday and keep bugging them.

Hi all
One of my friend who applied under noc 4011 - currently in canada and doing post-doc fellowship in canada, called CIC today morning and asked about the status of his application. he did phd in india and applied under noc 4011 of FSW 2014. application was sent by him on 17th december from canada.
he received the following information.

'' we wont be able to tell the date of charging because application verification departmemt is separate from finance department. for this NOC all applications completeness check till december 31 has been done and till now the total has not reached the cap and all applications have been sent for ministerial instructions. to call or send email to CIC 3 months after the application received date at CIC. We can neither give you the UCI number or application status as of now. "



So, is it safe for NOC 4011 from being capped?

CIC stopped charging noc 2132 october last year probably capped.

Really!? How come? According to CIC website November update it was not capped. Because of this I applied (do you have any sources to confirm this?)
If it is capped, I have must received the application by now. There is no reason to keep my application while it is capped.

Hi All,

Till 19th December partially they have reached for CC charging exception to some of the NOC..
After 19th there are only 6 working days left i.e 22,23,24 and 29,30,31.
I think by end of the week 16-20 Feb all the CC should reach partially to 31st December and end of FEB all the charging based on DD and CC should finish.
So 2 more weeks to Go

Hi Guys,

I called up yesterday to CIC office and got an update that my file is returned to me on 15th January.

I had sent my file to them on 11th July and got back in November last week ....reason being my consultant hadn't attached the xerox copies of my educational certificates .......

I recollect my self and again sent them file ...my file reached there on December 1st....I was waiting so anxiously for the good news ....but yesterday when I called them to know the status...they updated that the file is again turned down by them...I asked the reason and they said that the supportive documents of primary applicant and Dependents were not attached in file.....which is an impossible thing..because I checked my file twice as per checklist..

Before this too....they raised two objections out of which one was not not legit....the birth certificate of my son was in file ...which they said "No birth Certificate attached"

Guys I don't know it's my hard luck or what .....I have updated the status here to feel it my duty to let you know.

I wish for the applicants who are following this forum...may god fulfill your wishes and through all of you.

Time to leave ...friends..

as load increases effect on performance....... CIC got 200% more applications in last 20 days of December compare as they received in an ideal month of 30 days.
in my views changing after 10 december will be completed by 15th of March or leter.
few people have already got CC charged notification it is an intimation that they are working.
The situation never been same all the time and working modality changes as per the time requirement.

Very sad to hear that .I think ,Definitely Allah(God) has better plans for you though sometimes we can not understand it and its not easy to accept it as it happens.

Also i am very doubtful that my JD matches 80% as indicated by few members. It only matches around 60-70%. Also I have included my ongoing job (currently running at 8 months). Does its experience count or not? If not, i think i am out of the game.

We have the same timeline and NOC.

They should consider the 8 months from your current employer.

dd takes time. please check with your bank after 2 weeks.
