Sorry to hear that.....sometimes filing the application needs damn patience....you could have checked the application thoroughly before mailing it...when did you apply (application received date) and which NOC?

My application date is 5th Dec'14 and NOC is 2172. Payment mode is DD.

I contacted with my DD issuer Bank (SCB) and found that my DD was en-cashed on 3rd February. But still now I did not get any email from CIC. Is it normal scenario? Please let me know as I am very tensed about that.

All you can do is patiently call your bank for any updates. CIC don't send emails regarding DD or CC charging. Email that you will receive will be for PER or NER. Hope this helps. Thanks

I have initiated the process to check whether my DD has been cleared or not. They require 2-3 business days to process.....fingers crossed...anxiously waiting.... :-X Lips sealed keep you guys posted on the status....
