DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

I am not sure how relevant is it, but I have seen in local Israeli groups that someone got charged today 550$, submitting early Dec (provincial sponsorship nominee).

This might explain that CIC works, but just shifted priorities to process some other streams for a while, and will hopefully get back to our FSW soon enough 8)

That would be a fantastic idea, but i am afraid it would be only an idea! since everybody may have different landing date and place. I plan to kinston, ON. If majority of appt target ON, it is possible to have a gettogether, which would be a really great experience! And I look forward to it!

That's a good idea! Once we reach the Decision Made stage, we should discuss this further....to have a gettogather in Canada

Can anyone tell me the equivalent CLB score for Listening skill score of 7 on IELTS English Test?
Of course I have looked at the chart but this particular spooked me.

IELTS band 7 in listening is eqivalent to CLB 7. It will fetch you 4 points

Finally my bank confirmed that, CIC encashed my DD on 2.FEB.15.
My Files Reached on 2.DEC.14
MY NOC is 2172

It seems that CIC started charging DD after CC. Hope they continue to charge all DD and also those pending CC.
I also noticed that same day 2 Dec (app rec.)the same charging day 2Feb (charging date)

No this is not that case. Let us assume that CIO opened two application parcel, on 5th feb, 2015, one is CC and other is DD and they found both are complete in all respects. They will simply charge CC and issue it file number and UCI number and for the DD they will also issue the file number and UCI number and send the DD through their postal service to the bank for encashment. The applicant who had CC will immediatley see the result in his CC statement but DD person although his file has also been considered and gotton File number as well UC number on the same day as CC person, but he will see result of encashment at later stage and it may range from 3-10 days depending on the banks involved in the DD. So, timeline of CC person will never be faster for getting of PR visa. Because after issuace of File Number and UCI, what is counted as timer or time calculation purpose is the date of completenesss check and date of issuance of UCI number which will be same for both CC and DD person.

Hope this clears the confusion which most of the DD applicant has in their minds, that their applications are given less priority. I am 100% sure that it is not the case as far time of consideration/timeline of PR Visa is considered both CC and DD are equal. And DD is less risky and more secure. That is why everyone in the world advises to use DD.
