Hi I wanted to know you recvd a confirmation from cio that they have recvd but I didn't recv any such thing. Do they inform the applicant that they have recvd??

Hi Everybody,
I sent my application documents by FedEx last Wednesday. I was pleasantly surprised today by a message that advised by documents were received in Sydney, NS at CIO - Intake Office. I am so excited. Here are my questions:
1. Exactly what should I be doing now while waiting for a positive response?
2. How soon will I get a response and what type of acknowledgement should I receive?
3. I have noticed that sometimes a cap number (total available occupations based) goes down and not up. What causes a downward fluctuation?
4. How do I join the group shown on spreadsheet for the tracking of various stages of application progress?

Just an expert advice,as i had applied in the month of august app recd date was 21-08-2014 later i got my package back as incomplete and re submitted on 22-12-2014.Now one document which was missing is sent to them so will they pick my file and check again or will they will process from where they have left.I was just anticipating when can i here from them as i have no clue.

please help.

Which courier service you used?? Why is it taking so long to deliver?
I couriered my packet on 27th December and was delivered on 31st December... I sent it through UPS

i used the international express mail service. i got confused with the CIC instruction about postage stamps on the envelope(an advice i got from someone who applied in october) so i used IEMS. tomorrow will be the day of reckoning and i'm still hoping.

If still your shipment in Halifax, it will sure be delivered on Monday.

I am trying to see the cap for NOC 1123 in the cic.gc.ca website, but cant seem to find the list in the updated website....any suggestions how i can see it??? Please help! :-X :-X

I applied under the same NOC. And my file was received on 30th Dec'14. I belive they have removed the link and uploaded EE details post 31st Dec. Let's hope for the best!!
