Hmm. Let hope we both make it at the same time :)

About Notarization, I did not follow any thread. I went by what was in CIC's website and the documents checklist. Both of them clearly mentioned notarization is not required if documents are in English. They will ask for notarized copies or originals if they require.

Congrats.

Pray for me as it should reach by tomorrow.. I hope the office will still be open!

I'm so tensed!

Don't worry. CIC will only close on 25 and 26.

My application was received today. Big thumbs up to TNT Courier. My advice to anybody with late submission is to check and re-check as it gives ample opportunity to see likely problematic areas.

Believing Gof for the PER.

Is your friend an applicant too? I have a question for your friend: Gow dis he know and verify it? Also what is the use of our courier's tracker if out applications were not received?

They are going to accept applications till the end of this month or till the cap 25,500 is reached, whichever is earlier.

One of my friend says that Cic has stopped taking applications from November 15th? Is that correct?

so we are the last members to hand over the applications :D hehehe i wish all the best to everyone including me :) my application reached on December 19th.
but sadly i used that old generic form... many said it will not be a problem since that is a minor error... CIC is a responsible organization :) hope they will not reject my application just because of the VISA office... :)

Sent my application on 20th December via UPS... It has left Lachine, QC. Dunno if it will make in time. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? Also, all my docs were in english so i didnt got them notrized copy. Will it be problem?

Its perfectly fine no need for notarized if original document is in English, if translated than you have to notarize. So sit back and relax. Wish you good luck.

Guys, going by an average of 3k applications per month, and discounting Oct/Nov/Dec applications in the latest CIC update, don't you think that December application might be in jeopardy with regards to the overall cap of 25k. No one seems to be talking about that.

Will a 31st Dec file fall under the 25k cap?
