Is the completness check done immediately after CIC receives the application, or is it done just before enchasing CC, DD?

CC charge reached 24 November.

Interestingly one applicant reported dd encash (24 December applicant, noc 4011)

I think CIO finishes hot noc first

Yes, just one case from December. I wonder why ? if it is a hot NOC, CIC has other hot NOCs but no incedent of charging any other December applicants. waiting is really killing all of us and charging stopped suddenly

Completeness check is done after they receive the applications at CIC and only if your application is complete(ie; check whether you have sent all the necessary documents according to the checklist), they will charge your CC or DD.

Then your application will be reviewed again and they will send you a PER or NER (Positive eligibility Review or Negative Eligibility Review).

NER means, they will return your application back to you or PER means they will send your application to the Visa Office at the country you applied for the further processing.

You may read through this forum and you will learn the whole process in no time...haha

Well if you haven't submitted it already with your application, you will be asked to provide it along with your MR and RPRF

And the in the cover letter with returned application it was mentioned that his completeness check was done on 2nd Jan 2015. So, after 2nd Jan till today further 17-days have passed, so it seems that applications received from 22nd December till 31st December have passed through completeness check already during this time.

If someone has information contrary to what I explained above please comment.

Hii everyone I am Varun from Chandigarh. I have applied under NOC 2131. My application was delivered on 24th Dec. Though I didn't get the name who received it as I sent thru DHL. What's the thing I should wait for? . Thanks

Im also NOC 2131, app received on 15-dec-14. Sent thru DHL, from Mumbai.
My proof of delivery is not signed by anyone. However, I called up DHL and they told me it was signed by Donna.

Keep me updated, since we are of the same NOC, and have submitted the app approx at the same time.

There is no website or link, its just from the forums.

My guess would be 2nd or 3rd week of Feb, hopefully.
