Could be useful

A measure of healthy skepticism should be applied regarding the NOC cap update; it should not be blindly accepted and believed without any doubt or reservation.
The CIC update was very misleading because it had an approximate two months lag. There are applicants who had their applications returned because their NOCs have been capped, yet the update published at the time that their application reached CIC did not indicate that the NOC was capped.

I called yesterday and CIC agent simply said " If your application has reached CIC then we request you to wait till you hear anything from CIC."
I was disappointed as for some they had asked details like name,DOB and had checked in Database their app status whereas for me they didnt ask any of my details, simply requested to wait till I hear back from CIC.

But point is how long to wait still!
I had applied for myself,spouse and my 2 little kids.
Never in my dream thought it would be delayed to such an extent.

My thought, call it fear, was that CIC would shift its efforts to Express Entry to keep the 6-months or less mandate, so the pace of late FSW2014 applications would suffer. The inverse was seen in the third quarter of 2014 (between August and early December) where applications were processed faster than usual, perhaps to absorb as much as possible before Express Entry came online. Note that there are August and September 2014 applicants that have already been issued COPR!

Don't get disheartened. Call and try again. You will get a better, more sympathetic agent. There are some friendly agents there too who will give you some information.

Let's hope for the best..but 4th Dec. Applicant received his package due to capped and m 1st Dec. Applicant still waiting for update

It is better you create your profile in EE while you wait for update from CIC, because from all indication no 31st Dec applicant have been charged to date

Hi all,
Just tried again and this time I myself gave the info like DOB and last name, first name.
After keeping on Hold for a minute the CIC agent confirmed that my app got returned on March 3rd as the cap for 2172 had filled.
She even said since you do not have job offer and since the cap was filled we have returned your application.
