Congrats. You got charged, indeed lucky. Mine reached on 30 Dec, got a land mail and it was mentioned that the application reached after 25k cap. They sent everything back. Sorry to break the sad news for others.

Dear Sailormoon,
I am chasing my bank for DD clearance, but till date they have no clues on this. I even called CIC and lady said to call back on 07-04-2015 if nothing happens. So I am counting my time at the moment.

Dear Mind,

I suggest you contact the NR desk from the branch you made the DD or the biggest branch (in terms of customer base & how old the branch is), give them your DD details & they will send an enquiry mail to the corresponding bank in Canada for status of ur DD. It takes every bank a 24 hrs TAT to get a reply and update you with the status. If yours is a private bank and the NR dept doesn't co-operate I suggest you go direct to the BM to get a fast reply and if its a Govt Bank then I believe creating a chaos on the floor of the bank will do the trick.

My app reached 5 dec got PER on 24th March and still no news. Any remedy?? The wait is terrible!

It's very early to expect medical request (mr) for applicant with per on 24th march.
on an avg it takes 1.5-2 months after per.
seniors plz correct me if I am wrong.

It depends the Visa Office! Thhe average time is that u said.
But has VOs wich u can wait around 3-4 months to receive MR.

Yes, you can call CIC and check wich VO your app was transferred. But it takes at least a month to receive AOR. Maybe your app is still on CIO.
But all your questions could be answered by calling CIC.

Just received PER this morning on Mar 30.
Time line app received on 29 Dec at 10:20, DD cashed March 11.
However no visa office methioned in the email.

The PER mail does not mention the visa office... We get to.know it when w receive further communication from the cic/visa office...

Received the PPR and RPRF last wednesday 25/mar/2015. Waiting for the visa, finally.

My app received on: 10/dec/2014.
