Hello everyone, i am very new in this forum and i have seen really good advise that helps one to wait with ease.

Here are my worries, my application was delivered on the 30th of December. i just found out that document like birth certificate should not be substituted i substituted my passport page as birth certificate, as i couldn't obtain an original copy. i am very worried now that my application might be returned due to the negligence, any advice on what i could do?

Birth certificate is something that cic cannot overlook. Chances are high that your file will be returned. You can send the birth certificate again with a cover letter, but chances are slim if it gets accepted and attached to file. You should prepare for Express Entry, that is the best viable option right now.

it is 6:45am in Sydney NS, technically 6 hours are left now. I believe it will deliver on time and wait is over. For everyone of us.

Got confirmation from Loomis that it will deliver on 31st before noon.

Anxiously waiting for them to deliver it before noon today... I've refreshed the tracking pages a zillion times already...

ups delivers directly. unlike dhl who uses loomi's express.
i m sure it will deliver today.

I have asked DHL Canada about status
the person who is handling this is also immigrant
he is working with loomis to get application delivered today
4 hours remaining

I am also going to apply for Express Entry

All couriers are delivered after 9:30. You will see status updates 9:30 onwards.

I got similar message from UPS saying "Your package arrived late to the destination city. You should expect at least one business day delay" but they were able to deliver on time they had projected initially. Mine got delivered on 23 Dec. What was initial schedule date they mentioned to deliver ?

As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.

SO THERE IS HOPE...

yet, most of us have view, it will stop on 31/12..
