There is no VO to select in the new application form

The new generic form didnt have option to fill up VO of your choice because CIC is moving files to the VOs who do not have much load and they want to balance the load from busy VO to enable them speed up cases as they want to take charge of Express Entry process .

All are hoping! We can only hope, until we get a letter affirming the cap status.


But, going by what members have shared, it isn't gonna be a very nice week.

CIC updated the IMM0008 (Gen.Application) last Nov 2014.

U need to wait till u hear from your VO which will take around 30days from ur per date. They will ask u to submit ur latest details including ur PCC and u will hav a months time

Yeah , it was done in November 2014 in which they took off the VO column because they were no longer sure about assigning the chosen VOs

They had updated their form in Oct or NOV. 2014, but don't you worry the application you filled at that time has nothing to do with this. no matter if your forms were updated or postdated. because My application was postdated and got PER on 7th March 2015. SO relax.

Send an email to LDNIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca informing about the newborn baby and seek further course of action. They will let you know the way forward. I have received my PER on 28th Feb. I sent them an email for change of my email address on the 9th March and they got back to me on my new email on the 11th March acknowledging the change.

That's true.. My forms didn't have that option.

I got PER email today from my consultant:

NOC 3132
Application Date: 23 Dec
CC charged: 19 Feb
PER: 14 March

VO: Manila
