How long do they take to return the applications? Has any 30/31 applicant received their app yet? Also, do they open the application and assign any UCI before return?

I haven't received my app yet. Wondering why its taking so long. I have applied from within Canada. Should have received by now, anyways, can only wait and watch.

my first one was returnd, and the UCI was written in the application form.

Actually mine was also returned on 27/02/2015
but there was no UCI or any other number written on the covering letter/file......

Well , I m feeling sad that i filed second application despite having PER for first one
Cz one more needy applicant would have his/her canadian dream come true instead of my second appl space

I m feeling helpless cz i m already charged for my app dated 24 dec , and even if i withdraw now - my slot will not be emptied for anyone as file already under processing

i never anticipated before applying that GLOBAL cap would reach , or even sub cap of my NOC 0015 would reach 1000
And I thought dat my second appl will not effect any other applicants future

Feeling too sad & not happy wid myself (

Not blaming you, but why did u apply the second time when u already had the PER for the first??? Just curious to know...

I am a 29th December applicant, documents received by CIO at 11am, NOC 1212 without arranged employment.

I was expecting for my credit card to get charged this week but so far nothing.

I was wondering if someone has any recent news about 29th December applications and if the cap for NOC 1212 has been reached.

Anyone who applied under NOC: 2281 (Computer Network technician), in December first week(App red on 8th dec) and got any reply till now like.
1. CC charged
2. PER Received
3. Documents received back due to cap filled.
Or any kind of correspondence with CIC.

No news yet Marco....just need to wait. The situation isn't very encouraging, but start preparing for a backup.

From your replies it is evident that CIC has no consistent approach. ( I beleive both of you).

Probably, the assigning of an UCI has got something to do with the rejection reasons, which vary from.case to case. Just a speculation.
Also, inamkhan has been waiting for an update on his file which was submitted early December, but there is no update. Its really confusing.

Hello All,

My application for FSW was received at Sydney, Nova Scotia on December 15th 2014, delivered by DHL. My NOC is 2241.
I sent a DD for 550 CAD with the application. The DD has not yet been charged (the bank told me this) as of date and there is no communication of any sort from CIC. My application was not signed by anybody as seen from the Proof Of Delivery copy. Could it have been lost in the Nova Scotia office? Is there anybody with the same NOC facing a similar situation? :-[

I have also applied under EE with 427 points, no invite yet. Seems only 820+ points holders are getting invites! :-[

Any reply is highly appreciated.
