Hello all
My application was returned and the reason given was :
You did not provide us with an ECA report

However the reason I did not provide this was because i have post secondary Canadian education and provided the relevant certificate to show this. How should I deal with this? Should I call CIC or email ?

Not panicking yet.

Any help is welcome.

It seems you are living in Canada. If yes, go and see your local MP and ask him to help you. You have a good chance to be reconsidered.

Awaiting Charging....
Anyway I tried calling CIC a number times, last one being a few hours back.
They are not able to be see my record on their system and agent suggested that
if you applied from outside Canada - it may still be in screening.

What's your application status???

That was my case when they hadn't yet opened my file( 3 weeks ago). I called later, and an agent confirmed that my file is received and under review (a week ago)
I'm NOC 3111, Dec 29

Just called cic to know app status they told me your application is under review so wait for week or more days . is that a positive sign wants to know . my file rached on c i c on 29 dec n o c 1113 stock broking dealer. Important information is that i asked him sbt 25000 overall cap rrached . the man from cic said no we are processing file wait no cap limit is reached.......

I think its because the amount of files received in the last days would have been immense and many people are not on this forum ..hence even if the CIC is working as we can see with the PER coming everyday the charges being done are not reported on this forum ..I think in another week or so everyone would be charged who are within the CAP limits of their particular NOC

Just downloaded the SS of FSWP2014 and found out that there are 157-applicants of last three days present on this forum and out of these 157-applicants only 6-applicants have gotton their CC charged.

Presence of 157-applicants in last three days indicate that there were roughly 800+ applications received in last three days at CIO.

This is extremely strange on part of CIO that they are not charging the pending applicants and neither telling any further information on the phone.

They couldn't find my application in the system. I've applied from within Canada, hence have an UCI number but nothing related to FSW updated on it.

They could not find the file in the system, means you called the CIC call centre and they told you that there is no information about your application?? OR you could not login ECAS that is how you come to know that there isn't any information about your application?

My card is not yet charged....I'm waiting.
