Its so sad but unfortunately 2281, its capped.Its offically declared today by an CIC agent.I was on the phone with this agent for about 15 minutes and asked about my application and all who applied.Its been capped after 20 nov thats he told me.Whoever got charged after 20 nov will get an email from CIC explaining that noc has been capped and will get their refund.All applications after 20 nov has been returned already.Hope we all get out file back soon.I wish all the best to all my friends under 2281 to apply in Express Entry and hope to see you in canada soon.If you have any query please message me.

It is true?

Yes statistically he could be right in his message. Though it is a sad news for this NOC. But express entry might provide an opportunity in sixth or seventh draw. But initial draws will be for candidates with valid job offer+LMIA

My timeline is as under:

File sub : 18th dec
Noc : 0013
DD encashed: 20th feb

I would like to know when should the ECAS will go live bcoz I cant see anything now.
Secondly , do i need to put a hyphen (-) after the four digits of the UCI no while logging in ECAS or I should put the entire eight digit number.

What is the next step after DD encashment ? I mean is there any obstacle before we receive the PER ?

Please advise

In my PER mail, CIC didn't mention to which Visa Office my file will be transferred though I mentioned New Delhi visa office in Generic Form. I also heard that some files are getting transferred to Colombo Visa Office. How far is that true?

Guys I am Dec 10 applicant and my CC got charged on 31st Jan but no PER yet. I am wondering if it is only myself or is it happening with others too. My NOC is 1114.

Brother, Do not worry. In my opinion you should wait for another week. PER mail can be delayed due to large number of applications, cap status or just due to variation in individual processing. so wait for 1 week,if you do not any mail by then call CIC about the status of your application.

The CIC agent had informed me that ECAS will go live after 10 weeks from the date of application. Yesterday a 17th dec applicant has reported that his profile is activated. So we can expect to go live in couple of days and a week to 10 days more for PER

I have the same question. I thought they have checked whether the files were eligible before they charge.But it seems they just checked whether the documents were complete. Still worry

You dont hv to put any hyphen after the first four digits
