Guys for those people whom their application have receieved on December and still have no news about charging money from their account.I called CIC now the very polite lady checked my application status and told me there are many applications which have not been processed yet and the reason is the high volume of applications received at CIC on december so the process for these people takes more time in comparison with other months.she said if it was rejected you would have be aware earlier .Mine received on 23 Dec

Hi I'm 29 dec applicant as well.. Still nothing.. But i have not tried to call cic as i think its still early once my DD is encashed i will call them..

I think there are many people having the same situation as ours .This is what the call centre told me.I guess charging people is random altough I dont know what their strategy and priority in processing the application is.hope to hear a good news in following days

Hi, I hope to get a reply on this, getting worried by the day.

I sent my application on 18 December, which was received 24 December 2015. I sent my documents through courier DHL. I noticed that December applicants have been getting some updates like CC charged or DD encashed, my application has no movement at all.

I reviewed the airway bill I got from DHL and just noticed that in the receipt they gave, they showed the 'ship from' (that would be my home address) and 'ship to' (CIC) details. However in the 'ship to' details, the code they indicated was for 3012. I checked my copy of the documents as I made exact copy, I used my correct code of 0112 (HR Manager). In short, the envelope that I used to house all my documents showed NOC Code 0112 on the front but the plastic envelope from DHL mistakenly showed 3012.

Question: will CIC open ALL the plastic envelopes from courier? I'm worried they will discard my application on the basis of the code indicated in the courier-provided envelope.

I hope to hear from anyone with similar experience. Thanks.

Relax, CIC will only consider the NOC on the envelope containing your application package.

Guys , I just called up CIC and after a long wait the answer I got was that "all i can tell you at this point is that we recieved your application on --/12/2014" what can i make out of this??????

I am December application, i guess 8 dec. received charg on 1 feb.

Although i was calling, +16139444000 two times, i have entered a loop.
I have chosen 1 then 1, then gone in a loop. the computer is responding.

what is correct steps and number to ask about the status and UCI?
