Hi Friends,

Sorry if am talking out of context of this thread. But, I am in real urgent need of advice! ****

My friend's application was recieved by CIC on 5th Dec and unfortunately his CC charge by CIC was declined today due to to low international transaction limit on his CC. He already requested the concerned bank and got the limit updated to required level after he received the decline alert.

Now, he wants to get in touch with CIC and request them to reconsider charging his card towards application fee.

Please please share any email address he can shoot an email to that helps him. He contacted the call center but they simply advised him to refer to website, but did not provide any email address.

Please please help!

He should immediately send message to:- cio-sydney-search-enquiry (at) cic.gc.ca
In his message he should provide your complete name, date of birth, date and time of receipt of your application at CIO, courier details(awb and name of courier), NOC, Passport number, and any other relevant details. Better to attach PDF file of Generic application file as direct reference to them so that they can easily trace your application. And he should clearly mention that his transaction was declined due to the CC limit and now he has increased the limit.

By the way what is the NOC of your friend.

Thanks a lot! He just sent the email with all the details you suggested, but could not attach the PDF copy of the Generic application form. Lets wait for his luck to act.. Thanks again.
