Good for you :) Congrats! So you have your oath 3 months after the test.

I really have no idea why mine is taking so long....

Thanks!

I guess it really depends on your local office. I have read it here somewhere that the wait can take up to 6 months. So hang in there, it will come. :)

We sent you a notice on June 30, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 27, 2015 at 8:01 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. eCAS became Decision made on 2015/10/8, but when clicked, there is no other information other than those shown above.
Received my oath letter on 2015/10/22 by post, no change on eCAS
Oath date: 2015/11/24

My file is handled by Vancouver office.

Also, from my experience, it's better to check the eCAS status on Sat instead on Tue/Wed although on the website it's said that they updated the system every Tue. I have had 2 occasions that no changes on Tue/Wed, but there is a change when I check it again on Sat.

I hope my info helps people who feel that their application has been progressing very slowly. It seems to me that there is a big variation on the processing time, a friend of mine finished the whole process in about 8 months total, whereas in my case it will be about a year.

thanks for sharing your story. it does give hope!
Processing times seems completely random but they must have their reasons, which we may never find out...
