I received pink letters in mail this morning, Invitation for Oath Ceremony for us to be held 29th of this Month.
The turn out time is very quick, we appeared for the test 26th June, 2015.

Congratulations :)

We got Decision Made a couple days after the Test (although the last line in eCas still shows LOT as the last statement).

Can an oath invitation still take as long as 2-3 months even after a decision was made ?

Congratulations ... did your ECAS change to DM immediately after the test?

It it was changed changed within 2 days, currently it also shows the additional line for oath.

Congratulations Fatosa...

I have question.
I know they will take the PR Card back at the time of Oath, what happens to passports ?

Oath is on 29th and I have my property deal closing on Aug 1. My wife doesn't have Driving License or any other photo ID, she just uses PR card as photo ID. Since they will take it back, I will need her photo ID on Aug 1. So if we have her current passport in possession, that will be okay.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHOEVER HAS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS.

Are you talking about her current passport or the canadian passport ?
She will be able to keep her current passport. CIC will only takes the PR card

Hello Everyone, I am new to this so apologies beforehand for mistakes...
I did my interview on July 7th (over 55, so no test). Everything seemed to be ok and the lady who was asking questions was also placing tick marks on a paper. However, I haven't had my status changed to 'decision made' from 'In Process' yet and I am getting a bit worried. Can anyone here let me know what the process is for that stage and possibly why it hasn't happened and if anyone else is in the same boat?
Thank you!

Congrats to everyone with progress in their applications.
Good to see Mississauga applicants moving forward.

All the best for the test!

CIC updated processing timings.
all the applications received on or after April 1st 2015 - it is 12 months.
applications received before march 31st 2015 - their application will be completed by Mar 2016 or 24 months whichever comes first.

it is a good hope for all of us.

they also updated that online status will be updated every Tuesday for citizenship.
