December 2014 citizenship applicants!

Congrats! Seems you and several others will take the test on 23rd. My date is 22nd, as indicated in the letter, but my ecas is still not updated. Has anyone else has received the letter but no ecas update?

Thank you my only concerns are that I have lost my PR card and also my landing paper. I called cic and they told me I had to apply for Verification of Status and indicate that it's urgent with a letter explain why. I had apply for that in Feb and when I found out my test date I had called CIC and they told me i could still take my test but I wouldn't be able to for my oath. One CIC agent told me I would be still able to attended my oath and complete the ceremony but I wouldn't get my certificate until I receive my Verification Of Status. I hope the oath at this point take me 4 months after I write my test.

Hey guys, just to do a follow up with my application, I received an RQ on march 2nd, RQ sent back to the montreal office on april 15th... I hope it won't take long after that

Yes, I read you previous post about your PR and COR situation: well at least the process will continue. Hopefully you get it soon so you can get your certificate.

I don't think it will take that long for you to get your Oath Ceremony date. Things are moving faster nowadays.

2. Sent acknowledge of receipt feb 12, 2015
3. Sent acknowledge of receipt March 24, 2015
4. Started processing app March 17, 2015

This is what my ecas says. Ack reveived by email after March 24. Still no transfer to local office or invite to test. Which office does Vaughan, on use? Should I call cic?

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 8, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 7, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 22, 2015.

Your file was transferred to the Scarborough Citizenship Operations office on March 9, 2015. The Scarborough Citizenship Operations office will contact you.

We sent you a notice on April 8, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 23, 2015 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I am seriously upset and disappointed with the fact that my application has been still in process since 21st March. Most of the Mississauga folks were transferred to the local office around the same time at the end of March. Either they never bothered to update eCAS or they are sitting on my file. This is so irritating. Nothing in the mail box too.

They are doing background check, that is the only reason. I think!

Good morning!
Now I am little bit worried about my application!
My timeline is as follow:

Receivedecember 23,2014
AOR: Feb 27,2015.

Since then my status is just Received.

IS it OK or you guys advise me to call CIC about my status?
