So, just to put in my stats, I have spent 4.5 months already after I got an RQ, and there has been no further processing since that. Proper Toronto, stable and single job throughout, 126 days of total absence.

I see that you sent back the documents 3 months ago so maybe it will take another month?

Supercalifragilistic > I only saw my application being in process yesterday and it was on "received" since Feb. 17. (I sent my application on Dec. 16) I think it's perfectly normal. Some members here have been waiting for almost 2 months... You can always call them and tell them you can't access your application online and you would like to know what they are doing.

BTW, I called CIC last Tuesday and asked them where our application was going to be sent and where oath will take place and he (Mark) stated that Scarborough and Mississauga have some sort of agreement: An application can be sent to Mississauga, then from there to Scarborough and vice-versa. He told me our case was being sent to Mississauga which has already happened.

Mississauga is very slow, Scarborough is very fast .My file transferred to Mississauga , in same time if it was Scarborough I had test but now nothing happen.

where did you read about 60 days? I asaw many people waiting long time in Mississauga, for the Scarborough is 60 days but not Mississauga

I suggest wait till 3 month , I am already passed one month and no news, Mississauga is slow.

Shalom1.... My file was also transferred about 12 days ago... I think the next update for test invite will be atleast 1 month away, based on the previous timeline. Maybe we should just check once in a day

I am from Nov. application and transferred to Mississauga on 2 March, However I know someone that applied two month before me and nothing happened. Where did you read 60 days?

My e-CAS was updated sometime by the end of last week. My file has not been transferred to the local office for processing. My status shows "In Process"

There's a note stating:

"We sent you a letter on March 31, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us"

From experience and going through other posts, what could be some of the reasons they are requesting these documents?

I went to university in Canada and have included a copy of my official university transcript. I have met RQ. The only two things I can think of are:

1. I was deported from Canada (unsuccessful refugee application) but I was granted permission to re-enter when my sponsorship was approved. I have included my deportation and re-entry documents with my application

2. I have not done my taxes for 2013 and will be in no shape to get in 2014 by the due date this year

Could these be possible reasons? I spoke with a CIC agent way before this update came on e-CAS who stated that my application is still in Sydney.

I am in no rush but at the same time I would not want to be trapped in one of those non-routine, drawn out CIC processing piles.

Most likely an RQ. Did they send it the same day they started processing your application?
