December 2014 citizenship applicants!

My Ecas is in process since February 26 :

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 4, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 12, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 26, 2015.

I just received that email ! ;D

I got my AOR finally !!!

I can now remove the suit, tie, and shoes and finally get up from this chair and go have something to eat. I have been sitting here since 7 am this morning

Thank you everybody for the support and kind words !

Now starts another step. Finger crossed !

For those who are still waiting, the December pile is emptying and your AOR is around the corner ! I'll be surprised if this group is not completely green by Monday ! So, guys, wear a suit, and matching tie, and shine your shoes and wait for the email. Trust me it works !

I have been reading every single post (whenever I have time) and I am so proud of all of you. Things have been going so smooth with a team spirit and the attitude of "no worries, I got your back" on this thread.

A story that cracked my code: asagalen was waiting for his AOR and one day developed the idea of wearing suit and shine shoes, someone suggested a matching tie. Ever since, this has been working for our members. I always smile whenever a friend got AOR after promising that he/she will do the same. Can we try this for test and oath invitation letter or to get a new job?

I would like to thank everyone, in particular asagalen who has been updating our December spreadsheet. I am inviting you to login and thank him for the hard work.

Please help me to understand my situation. I had submitted my and my wife's citizenship application together. Last week my wife received AOR via email confirming receipt of citizenship application. I have not received any updates as of now.

May I know if you guys have any idea what is going on in my case?

Well, I don't realy have answer for this. Did you send your applications in the same package? /In my case, we both received AORs at the same time. I think you should call CIC and see what is their answer.

I did not receive AOR for my youngest child. When I checked his ecas using UCI# in his PR card, it was active. I also called CIC and they confirmed that his application is fine.

Is your wife's ecas active?
If she received AOR last week, her ecas should should be active by now. If her ecas is active, see if yours is active too.
If your ecas is not active, there is no harm in contacting CIC call center and ask about your application.

Usually applicants use UCI No. which is basically your PR number.
