December 2014 citizenship applicants!

Hi Shalom1,

You're not alone there. All my family members except one got their AoRs 2 days back. Interestingly, however, the family member who didn't get an AoR can still see application status online using UCI number. I'm wondering whether the email-AoR is something I should be worried about.

Did someone else experience this too?

Hi, in my case I received AOR for all family members in a span of 7 minutes. First I received e-mail than my wife and then elder kid and finally the youngest one.

My wife sent the application on Dec 23 and it was delivered on Dec 29, 2014.
Tonight she received the AOR by email.

Does anyone know if there is a delay from the time you get an AOR, to the time you can check your status on E CAS?

Hey Shalom1,

No problem. The UCI number, which is and 8-digit number with a hyphen, should be on your PR card and COPR, but it's not your PR number. Hope that helps.

I checked with the # on PR card and his Ecas is active. I also called CIC and the lady I spoke with confirmed it.

My eCAS is active this morning ... Application status is "Received".

I live in the GTA (close to Scarborough). Will they decide on the local office based on the proximity to the local office?

Congrats! This is your AOR. Wait a couple of days and then you will be able to see the status of your application via eCAS
