Hi folks!

Here is a quick recap of my citizenship application process:

• We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 19, 2014.
• We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 17, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
• We started processing your application on February 19, 2015.
• Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Vancouver office on February 20, 2015. The Citizenship Vancouver office will contact you.

Hey guys,

Just realized CIC made a mistake by entering my address is their system... They put 434 instead of 424... I am not sure they are still sending stuff in the mail anyway. I have changed the address online and it's taking 15 days to take effect. (Approximately 15 days they said)

You should double check as well.

You got your email AOR already so dont worry cause you probably wont get anything until the test date and it is few weeks after they transfer your file. You should be ok

Got Ecas working after 2 days of AOR. Status says "Received"

Question:My PR is expiring in the end of July, should i renew or just wait for a while

If you have to travel outside Canada yes, If not, it is not necessarily.

Oh i thought you received the AOR, somebody mistakenly put information in you name.. anyway i cleared it for now.

But where is my AOR? Does anyone know?
Maybe it's time to get my suit, shoes and matching tie out. And then wait outside in the snow until the AOR shows up.

Oh....after getting the AOR e-mail do you have to keep checking to see when eCAS gets activated and processing started etc etc or do you e-mail you each step?

In that case, just make sure you have proper gloves so you can refresh your inbox from your phone while standing outside in freezing cold

In web login, I see it says "We started processing your application on February 23, 2015". Does it mean, the process is bit first ! How long it might take to send the file to local office Scarborough.Any idea?
