Just a quick update, I now have access to ECAS. Status shows "Received"

Colocho, i think you will see another line like "file transferred to local office", may be its currently in route to your local office good luck!

Still in Sidney for the moment, an agent there just started to review your application, and run a batch of checks (security..etc).

It can take from 1 day to a couple of weeks to complete this step.

Mine has two lines, stating the date application was received and when they sent AOR.

Hello You,


You should follow my time info back to the table. The point is, when I filed my application, I had a mistake coming to the section says report what the history of your previous four years is... here is the mistake, instead of typing 2011, I've written a mistake 2012, and for the following line as well... Consequently, I made a call to CIC call centre to let them know if needed, I should explain the error or whatever. The lady on the phone said, wait till the CIC makes a clarification contact for that... {self-telling, maybe that might be cause of delay to process my file}. My file was touched on 12 Feb 2015 and the AOR was released through an email communication!

Now, the question is: Do I need to make a correction on that since they haven't made any contact relating to that error? Or, there will be another step provided to correct that fault in near future?


For your info, this error of typing does not make any effect on my time spending in Canada to be eligible for Citizenship... It is for the period before entering to Canada!
