I applied on the 7th of January and still no test date...i'm from DT toronto

Applied in Dec 2014 and have my test on Wednesday (got a letter in the mail) Couple of questions and would appreciate the help:

1) Did anyone get an oath date immediately after the test (on the spot?)
2) My ecas still shows "the local office will contact you" - no update on the test invite - is this normal?

Long time ago since my last posting. Today in the early morning I received an email from CIC, finally I am scheduled to present the test on January12!!!!!

I have read that in Calgary Test and Oath Ceremony have taken place same day.

I have not read of anyone in Ontario. Perhaps Quebec?

Hi guys,

I got my pink letter in the mailbox today! Oath ceremony will be on January 12th at Scarborough centre. It's great to finally reach the end of this long journey, Thank you for your support and I wish you all a happy holidays
