i had called the cic call centre and the agent said he has no information about the cap being reached. he advised to email them after 10 weeks counting from the application receipt date for any status inquiry.

Possible. However, there is no progress of any sort in Nov & Dec, so it seems that info could be correct. I will wait for more clarity before applying under EE.

I have applied through agent in December 2014.

I have no notification from him even after asking the question if my file has reached immigration. All i know through his email courier was sent to immigration on December 19,2014.


Please help me, how can I myself find out the status.

Guys, one of applicant in october which the CIC recieved his/her application last october 25th and got charge already.. so how come that they said the CAP has been reached???? hmmmmmmm....

CIC is still processing SEP+OCT Application.

It might take another month or so for us.

Well don't have to tell me any more this game is done my friends I'm gonna apply for a provincial nomination and head home and wait for it to come threw no sense beating this dead horse any more it was a pleasure to have applied with such polite helpful and optimistic people best wishes to you all the next few months will be the hardest but i ask that all of be strong and never give up i signed up a EE profile but i only have like 400+ points so I'm gonna try and build on that best of luck dear friends.

I think CEC cap is reached which is 8000, FSW cap is 25500 inclusive of 500 Phd applicants and 5000 for FST

Highly unlikely that FSW cap is already reached.
