Hi Folks, lately i have started following this forum and its pretty impressive to see how everyone is helping each other out here.
I shipped my application on December 8th 2014 NOC 0621 (assistant Manager Retail).
I have following concerns regarding my application :

1) My employment reference letter states 5th December 2014 as the issue date but i actually completed my 1 year on 8th December 2014. That being said, I still work with the same company and i shipped my documents on December 8th.

2) I included all my pay stubs other than the last pay stub that accounted for my 1 year experience. My company issued the pay stub after I shipped my documents. But my Employment reference letter states my Annual salary.

3) Most important, I took 20 Days vacation during my work tenure. I hope that won't create any problem because according to CIC 1 year of work experience includes medical and vacation leaves. Also, my employment reference letter clearly states that I worked 40 hrs per week i.e. I worked 1960 hours and the minimum requirement is 1560 hrs.

Do you guys think I can be picked for any of these reasons.
The company that i work for is a renowned Canadian clothing company.

Please Advice

1. Employment letter should be after you complete the 1 year requirement, I believe is the date that testifies you HAVE completed working for 1 year.

2. Was in similar position, included a brief cover letter explaining that, plus a small cover letter from the company accountant that verified the same.. You should be ok, since you sra salaried though, along with T4 and NOA of course that state the same.

3. Wrong!
The requirement is not only 1560 hours, is both 1560 h. AND minimum 1 year completed, 52 weeks that is.
So, no matter how many hours per week you worked, cic only counts 30 per week, and you get 1 week, that's it!

2 weeks of paid vacation are generally accepted, as long as you have proof (paystubs, letter that states benefits etc).

I would advise to recalculate your weeks, any week you worked over 30 h., count as 1 week, don't add up the hours!

Pls add me to the spreadsheet

Hi,
you can't do much now apart from finding an employer willing to do LMIA for you. That's the only way for you how to get the new WP now.

I have visa issue.

Even though my work contract is until beginning of May 2015, my work visa is expired at 3rd April. So, I need Bridge Open Work Permit to keep working and staying in Canada. I also have applied for PR with CEC last year, December 2014 but I haven't get AOR yet. My AOR is expected to reached on 2nd April. Can I apply for BOWP and I would like to know how to apply with paper based. I am looking for it CIC but I haven't yet.

Actually, I applied for my work visa with 6 month which is cover my contract. But immigration officer put my start date of visa one month before I work. So the period of my visa got shorter than the period of my contract. I know that is my fault. I applied it on the internet one month before I work. I should have been to boarder when the date was close to my start working.

Please give me advice. Thanks in advance.

I dont know if im jumping the gun here but a November applicant said his cc was charged i dont know if its confirmed but if so that means there might be more but the november applicants are not updating.

Any idea of the CAP for the 8000 being filled and our application status.
